Doing my last set of "Legs & Back" for this final phase of P90X, then I'm going to take Harvey my German Shepherd out for a run. Will do 2.5K @ very least, but hope to push for more. I'll let you know.

Well the run got scrapped. Hopefully this weekend I can get one or two in. I enjoy getting out with the dog to go, but I'll hit elliptical if that doesn't work. Gonna do Kenpo + today for recovery in place of regular Kenpo. I have a lot of improvement to make on that workout.

Loved Kenpo + yesterday. Big improvement over the first time already. Going to do IntervalXPlus for recovery today instead of stretch. Being the first time doing it, maybe not a great idea, but I want a little extra push where I can this last week. Weighed in at 218# this morning. That's 2# lost in 9 days. Since putting a little better focus on calorie intake, I've shed a little more weight towards the end of the program where I kinda loomed around 230# for a good chunk of time.

Okay, so I went 1/2 way with IntervalX because I didn't feel like doing all the same moves in reverse, so to satisfy my anxiousness and curiosity I threw in the Insanity Fit Test a few days early. Here's how I did first time through. I think I owe what success I did have with it just having done P90X. SWITCH KICKS: 112 POWER JACKS: 55 POWER KNEES: 90 POWER JUMPS: 37 GLOBE JUMPS: 10 SUICIDE JUMPS: 15 PUSH UP JACKS: 35 (LUCKY IF I COULD DO 10 REGULAR PUSH UPS WITHOUT GETTING REAL WINDED WHEN I STARTED P90X) LOW PLANK OBLIQUE: 65.
Tomorrow: Core Synergistics

Did X + TOTAL BODY TODAY in place of Core Synergistics. Just looking to keep things interesting the last few days. Might throw in some cardio or a jog this evening for a little extra burn today.

Okay so this isn't my key focus but I've become very numbers obsessed be it calories rep counts weight etc. It just all helps to monitor my progress. I currently weigh 218# and I have an october end goal of 200#. Ultimately I would very much like to get down between 185-190. I think it's a good longterm goal. It's within my ideal parameters and I'm mostly excited about the return. I've lost 35# since deciding to make a change and I never imagined I could even do that, so now I feel like another 30 over the course of time should be more than reasonable.

I tried to get them lined up as close as possible. I think my posture has improved, especially my uber-confident giraffe neck.

Best mental and physical shape of my adult life! Have a long way to go still, but where I never did before actually feel it's attainable.

Alright, so Wednesday got away from us. Finished painting the living room and did some other stuff to prepare for company this weekend, then I had to go to work. I didn't get to do my workout. I got home around 3 this morning and got on it though. i'm feeling a bit recharged now although the workout really punished me. I wouldn't recommend following a shift of l building pallets of beer with an Insanity workout. It rocked my ass, but I finished it struggling quite a bit towards the end. Again, I felt like the warm up almost did me in. Getting back on track though because today I will be doing day four before going to work. Not as much going on. Next weekend I'm on vacation and home all week so I hope to get an extra workout or a run in when I can.
