So I've been wanting to get a set of Gymnastic Rings for awhile now but just haven't had any cash to get them. Instead I've just spent the past month or two looking around at different options and recently stumbled upon a piece of equipment called the "Jungle Gym XT". www.lifelineusa.com/jungle-gym-xt.htmlI want one of these fuckin' bad! It looks like I can do just about every exercise I wanted to do with the rings and a ton more. I fully plan to pick up a set of these and I'll give my review once I get them (it may be a while sense I'm broke). If anyone here get's some or has experience with them I would love to hear your opinion.

I couldn't resist and ordered this from Amazon the other day. I'll let you guys know what I think of it but I am certain I'm gonna dig it. It adds a whole ton of body weight options to my pull up bar and also doubles as a compact portable gym. Conventional thinking says that working out in a 3D (XYZ) environment incorporates more muscle groups. Additionally, because most of the exercises require suspension you'll almost always be working on core strength in addition to the target area. Take a look at videos of people using these things that are not gymnasts (gymnasts make it all look easy) . I've seen very fit people shake and struggle with these suspension trainers. Here's to hoping these things are not a new gimic. LOL

I received my suspension trainer and really like it so far. The product was easy to install on my pull up bar. It is also has very comfortable grips and feet cradles that both function great. Making height adjustments is fast and really easy as well. A DVD containing beginner, intermediate, and advanced exercises was also included as well as a poster showing a workout for each of the levels mentioned above. I really wish the DVD contained full workouts but I understand that they chose to show you a larger range of capability of the system and allow you to make your own program. If you haven't used a suspension training system it's nice to note that the exercises can range from super easy to crazy hard. Even exercises that I am pretty familiar with were made VERY difficult by doing the suspension version. I am looking forward to developing some workouts with this tool and getting a better idea of just how much I can get from this.
