I've seen this program at Fry's electronics and Walmart several times and pick it up out of morbid curiosity every time, look at it, than put it back assuming that it's gotta be utter crap or a direct rip off of P90X.
I have a copy of it now and am currently reviewing the program as I write this. I have to admit that what I see is so far is actually impressive enough to have me sold on giving the workouts a go.
Most of the videos are are a little shorter in time that I'd like to see with most around 40-45min. The workout lengths may not be all that bad if they can be performed at a level that drives the HR up (This is assuming calorie burn is a goal of yours). Even if the cardio aspect of the videos are not intense enough and length is what's needed to get the level of burn you need I see that there is a video called "Core Dynamics" that is 24min if you cut out the warm up (28min if you leave the warm up in) that could be added to any workout to add some additional workout time.
There are a lot of moves in these videos that you have seen before if you've done P90X & Insanity so nothing is going to feel totally unfamiliar. The good part about that is that these workouts seem like they could be inserted into any of the your calendars seamlessly. While the moves are the same (or similar) I have noticed that the use of dumbels have been added to many of the moves. This is an additional feature that I think I really like because it adds an additional level of intensity that can be adjusted.
I'll give these a test run to see how they actually work my body and also note calorie burn as well so I can compare the intensity level in both resistance training and cardio training.
Stay tuned.
PS. in the future I plan to shorten this workout to "S90D"
