I regret to inform you that my Insanity program has slipped. Due to personal reasons at work I have nit been able to do the last 2 days of my training. I am not happy about this and may do what I can over the rest of the week and start week 3 again next week.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest bud. Finish out your week as best you can than start this week over again on Monday. Don't beat yourself up much about it bud. What's important is that you are coming back and sticking with the program. Spending an extra week in month one will help you in max insanity for sure.

Hi guys I regret to inform you that I won't be able to continue my Insanity. It is just too hard to find space to do it while I am away at work. The places I used to do my workout are no longer available. I still really want to get into shape so I am going to do my own little Hybrid of insanity at home and treadmill and weights at work. It's not my ideal program but if I don't do something then I'll just get super lazy again and keep putting on weight.
Any tips or comments you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.

No worries Wadeo. I don't know just how limited your space it but I can say it's possible to do even insanity in a VERY small area. I used to do it in an area not much larger than my body. I have much more space now but even still it's not the largest space. I'm glad you don't intend to give up completely it's nice to have friends going through the same process. If you have ANY space at all you can modify the programs to fit your space. For example when I did Insanity the first time I had no room to do the moving pushups so I just switched from close hand pushups to wide hand pushups. Give us more details about your space limitations and perhaps we can come up with something that will work. Worst case running and anything you can do in a prison cell should keep you programmed until you can jump back into Insanity.

Hey mate sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Well i was doing my work out in a squash court and when that was unavailable i was using a cardio room if it was free. I could usually get on of them for a hour. The mine im working at is expanding rapidly and the camp it a full capacity. Turns out everyone wants to get fit and now the rooms are just packed and too hard to do my thing. I would use my room if i could but the space to work with is smaller than a single bed. The rooms are transportable buildings and are loud just walking around in so if i start doing jumping jacks and but kicks etc ill probably get my head punched in by someone trying to sleep.
I was thinking of getting P90X so i can add that into my Hybrid. Although i was losing weight doing Insanity im not sure how toned i was getting.
I will be going to another mine in a few weeks but that place has even less places to do a proper Insanity/P90X workout. The gym is small and has some weights a chin up bar and 2 treadmills.
Ok coach Howie what do you think. Ward if you have any suggestions i would love to hear them. Thanks Guys

ok, sounds like cardio and Insanity is definitely going to be an issue for you at the moment. I've tried to make Insanity quieter and it's very hard. If you can find a Plyo Mat (thick squishy yoga-ish mat) those dampen the sound quite a bit. P90X does sound like a good alternative for you and the space you have. If you can get some tall push-up bars and a doorway pull up bar so you can do more things in your room. Heave resistance bands would also be great to add some resistance training while keeping things silent. For cardio you may just need to hit up that treadmil as often as you can. You can always find something that will work for you. Watch the insanity videos and note the moves that WILL work for you than combine all those workable moves into one or several routines you can do any time.

Well put Howie. I don't know if I can add much to that. I have a reasonable amount of room, but wish I had a higher ceiling. Your space seems small and yeah, the cardio in Insanity is a lot of jumping and fast movement. I would definitely get P90X and if you can afford them some adjustable dumbbells. They're a little pricey, but worth it if you plan on committing to the workouts. I wish I could add more, but Howie nailed it I think.
