Good luck WadeO. I start Insanity in 9 days when I wrap up my first round of P90X

For sure WadeO! Your determination seems on par for the program. As you've discovered already the program is hard and pushes your limits at times. Just make sure to keep pushing play every day and understand that it will get easier. The program will always be hard but it does get easier as your body get's accustomed to the moves. Really looking forward to hearing about your progress through this program. Ward has been doing an outstanding job with P90X and it's been really fun to see him kick it's ass. Can't wait to see you do the same with Insanity.

Wade, How do you feel about the intensity of this program to start off? What are some of the most challenging moves you've experienced so far? Are you keeping up with the test group in the videos or falling a little short? I'm doing some of these workouts at about 120-150% intensity and they are still rockin' the shit outta me! I actually almost threw up last night while doing "Cardio Power & Resistance" and had to back off a hair. Briana had her heart rate in the 190s at one point! This is one of my favorite things about Insanity, the program will grow with you and probably never become easy.

So Ward and I have been talking and have decided to have a friendly competition Insanity style. No prize other than bragging rights but it's mostly motivational. The plan is to post our Fit test results to keep improving upon them. I will post mine from today to get things started: 1. Switch Kicks= 155 2. Power Jacks= 68 3. Power Knees= 110 (123) 4. Power Jumps= 51 5. Globe Jumps= 11 (13) 6. Suicide Jumps= 25 (26) 7. Push-up Jacks= 35 8. Low Plank Oblique= 76
All (#) represent my personal best from a previous testing.

Once again great work Ward. Those really are impressive #s. I forgot to mention that when I take the Insanity test I don't allow any additional rest over what Shaun T gives. I feel like the test is designed for cardio insurance as well. Feel free to test anyway you feel safe and comfortable. I just wanted to mention this aspect of my testing.

Thanks, yeah I didn't either. In this case I ffwd'd through the warmup since I had just done most of that on Interval X and considered ffwding through a break here and there, but figured my performance on the following move would be compromised

Nice dude! I think I'll retake the test every two weeks or so and see if I can keep improving. Might be a good way to make sure I'm progressing forward rather than staying still.

Okay, so I just finished Insanity Day 2. Whoa! P90X was tough, but I was in shitty shape then and took it easy at first. I feel like I need to push myself more now, but holy crap the program name isn't wrong. Love it. Today was Plyo Cardio Circuit. Tomorrow: Cardio Power and Resistance. The mats I purchased are saving my knees with the plyo.

Hey guys sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. Great to hear your going great with your workout Ward. My biggest problem from the start has been my fitness but that is improving. I am getting closer to keeping up with the group but it still rocks me. I feel like I must not be doing something right as my core/abs haven't really been hurting much. I just finished week 2 and did improve on my fit test by a large amount in the first most of it. I didn't get less in any of the moves which makes me happy. I still have trouble with suicide jumps and others with that in out movement because I don't have the flexibility in my knees and lower back. At the end of the day as long as I'm doing the best I can and can see/feel progress I'm happy. As I told Howie I have lost about 5kg so far and that makes me happy. Howie you said you almost threw up the other day. That's funny cos I threw up the first 2 days of Insanity haha. I don't have a heart rate monitor so I'm not sure what my heart rate has been getting up to but I'm sure it'll be right up there with Bri's

Hey Ward did you do much fitness before P90X? Do you feel doing P90X before Insanity have really helped you cope with the brutal cardio Insanity has to offer?
